We are the Power to Create

A friend of mine once told me that when Michelangelo created his fierce and beautiful David, who moved from being a simple shepherd to defeating Goliath, he took away what he was not, to come up with what he was, and perfection emerged from the stone.

We could arguably say that we are doing the same thing as we patiently and lovingly bring ourselves into full Being, moment by moment.
